This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well known, ASX listed brand in the technology space and handle complex M&A deals as well as broader corporate/commercial matters. The company is continuing its growth both organically and though acquisitions while also disposing of non-core assets. This is a great opportunity to see transactions from inception to completion and witness their ongoing success and contribution to the business!
You will be working closely with the internal M&A function as well as the wider business and legal team in providing commercially focused legal advice supporting mergers, acquisitions, disposals and partnerships. You will also be responsible for handling wider commercial matters including data and privacy. The in-house team and company as a whole have a reputation for being collaborative and innovative in its approach. The position will be offered on a 12 month contract basis but there is potential for a longer term role as the team continues to grow.
Skills & experience
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years pae in Corporate Law. This will have been gained in a top or mid-tier law firm and potentially also in-house or on secondment (though in-house experience is not essential). Along with the technical legal skills, you will also be a team player, commercially minded and share the team’s passion for innovation!
